Grey would later avenge her death, by killing himself, Captain Styles and two pilots. After losing many of the battalion's leadership, all of their corporals, sergeants and lieutenants, they killed Billaba, firing at her body even as it hit the ground, same as Bly. After the battle of Kaller, Grey would receive Order 66 and open fire on Billaba. He would also fight in the Third Battle of Mygeeto and in the Battle of Kaller. The battalion took heavy casualties, losing 90% of their forces, leaving Grey and three others alive. The battalion was sent Haruun Kal to combat the Separatists and repel then from the planet.
He was assigned to serve under Jedi General Depa Billaba. He was in charge of his own battalion during the Clone Wars. Grey was a clone commander in the Grand Army of the Republic.
